ACED.PH Region III Induction and Strategic Dialogue with CHEDRO III to Strengthen IT Education- June 4, 2026

On June 4, 2026, the officers of the Association of Computing Education Deans and Program Heads (ACED.PH) Region III formally took their Oath of Office and paid a courtesy visit to the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III (CHEDRO III).
The induction ceremony was officiated by Dr. Maura Consolacion D. Cristobal, CESO III, Director IV of CHEDRO III, signifying the organization’s commitment to advancing excellence in computing education across Central Luzon.
Following the oath-taking ceremony, the newly inducted officers engaged in a productive dialogue with Dr. Maria Teresa S. Salta, Supervising Education Program Specialist, and Dr. Bernard S. Pantonilla, Chief Education Program Specialist. The discussion focused on the organization’s thrusts, strategic plans, future directions, and potential collaborative initiatives with CHED aimed at enhancing the quality of Information Technology Education (ITE) programs in the region.
The meeting also highlighted ACED.PH Region III’s commitment to strengthening academic leadership, fostering innovation, promoting quality assurance, supporting faculty and student development, and building stronger partnerships among Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Through these initiatives, the organization aims to further elevate computing education standards and encourage more institutions across Region III to become active members and partners in advancing the region’s digital and technological capabilities.
